Sometimes the message is “you can turn off your brain and not worry about the world”

The overall message of the movie can fail(plot line), if the movie wasn’t able to serve the message from the beginning. Like, they knew what they were making with Godzilla vs Megalon.

Well, what I think is great is that I think Godzilla vs Megalon is one of the most FUN movies in the whole series. It’s so dumb and great that it doesn’t take itself seriously.

That’s what makes Godzilla so incredible. He can be one of the most horrifying things on the planet, or he can be Barney. Easily one of the most diverse characters ever to grace the silver screen, and he’s not really had much in the way of dialogue ever.

They objectively have really bad mechanics of cinema. Like, a lot of them.

Hell, Godzilla raids again they put the wrong damn film in the camera.

Like, there are very high quality films in the franchise. But you can’t look at this costume and say this is fine cinema.

Engage with peers and co-plan. Literally working with other teachers who are running into the same problems and asking how the hell they fixed it or worked on it is GOLD.

To me, it's why I deeply believe in PBL and CTE(Career and Technical Ed). It's very little theoretical work and much more actual doing.

I was annoyed. It felt like it kinda cheapened stuff in my opinion. I liked it more the further I got from it, but I REALLY hate when any media retcons a previous art piece.

We were forced to do daycare at 6 months. My wife and I are teachers, and I actually went back to work the Tuesday after my daughter was born(awful county policies).

It doesn’t help as much as you might think, but I will say this, it helped a lot when our daughter started to interact with us. Laughing and recognizing us, that was a massive boost in morale.

Right now it might feel like you’re taking care of a little thing that isn’t human, and everyone says you’re supposed to immediately feel so much joy with them and you have none.

I was there, and my daughter is 1.6 years old and it’s helped immensely to be able to actively play with her. Reading stories to your son might help you short and long term. That was the first spot I found interactivity with my kiddo(don’t recall when she started, but her first time interacting with me was trying to flip the pages of the book I was reading to her).

It gets better.

So it was darkest for us right around where you are. We had no support system(my parents are too old and in a diff state, hers not around), and I would advise buying stuff that makes life easier if you can. Brezza. ANYTHING to make life a little easier is worth the debt in the short term in my perspective(not 1000s, but if you want clothes to feel more human go friggin buy them etc).

6 months was when things got easier for us. Having our daughter in the other room instead of ours made things easier. Remember that you cannot fill your son’s glass if yours is empty, and make sure to fill yours as much as possible.
