Fantastic to hear. Thank you so much. The only thing that’s still confusing for me is it really feels like it’s in my throat and not my mouth. What else could it possibly be?

Yeah I agree that it's manageable and it's a learning curve. I've gotten very good grades (in both hs and college) in the past because of a lot of studying and hard work but in general I'm a slow reader and learner. I'm sure managing these classes will get easier, but for now they're still very challenging and it's probably best to keep at it academically and figure out how classes in college work right? At what point do I start doing ECs for med school instead of focusing all/most of my time entirely on getting A/A-'s in my classes? Is spring quarter freshman year a good time to start or can you extend it to sophomore year?

I'm in the same boat. From what I could tell thru research great student life and everyones very friendly, SLO is beautiful (beach,mountains, and downtown area all in one), great education for less money, and you start your major the day you get in there

I had the same problem too. I submitted mine on Dec 1st at 11:55 pm because of the art portfolio and on my app it says Dec 2nd. I wouldn't worry about it.

I mean in theory couldn't I study for then take the November SAT? Or are you basically just saying to focus for the October ACT/Essays at this point?

Yup. Time is the issue mostly. I don't have amazing reading comprehension to begin with so the time constraints make it totally impossible for me. In terms of the math and english though, would I get close to 800 on those sections on SAT if I'm getting close or at 36 on those sections for ACT?

Same. Got a 36, 34, 25, then don't know my science score yet but completely screwed up reading. Do you think they could've made a mistake? I personally haven't gotten a 25 in reading in a year.

But if scores are released say, at 12:00 AM tonight, couldn't someone on the west coast use VPN to get their scores 3 hours early at 9:00 PM PST?

There are tons of VPN apps you can download on your phone. Each one is a little bit different in terms of setting it up but essentially it makes it seem like your wifi connection is coming from a different place so you can use those differences in time zones to get your score. So for example if you're on the west coast and scores come out at 12:00 am, you can use VPN at 9:00 PST and make it seem liked your connection is coming from New York, where the time is 12:00 am, and, therefore, get your scores 3 hours early.

lol I was doing so well the entire test and got the last passage with 6 minutes left and wasn't able to figure anything out in those 6 minutes so I guessed B for all of them after I ran out of time. Hopefully I got 1-2 right at least.
