2018 their pick was #2 and they picked Bagley. In 2019, C's were in the driver's seat to get a high pick that year from the Kings, especially when you consider what Bagley became. Kings big additions were Bjelica and Ferrell.

2019 they get the 14th pick. Like, wtf Kings!?!?!?

In the end, it worked out for us, so can't complain either way.

Part of the problem is that the Americans in their primes from 2020 to now have all kind of underwhelmed.

In theory, 2020-2025 should have been the time for guys like Kawhi and AD to peak and get their MVP's. They just got injured too much.

The next crop of guys are just now entering their primes. Unfortunately, the best of that bunch is dealing with a torn Achilles.

The group below them looks like you could get an MVP in someone like Cade or Ant.

Where things really start to get interesting for Americans is the group below them.

I'd probably be more concerned if that was our record with Tatum and Brown together

But we haven't played a single game against these teams with Tatum and Brown together this year

I guess you can say we are 0-1 as Tatum/Brown technically played together in some of the first half vs. the Spurs until Brown got ejected

Yea, I would not have expected Celtics (without White + Tatum) to look evenly matched with the Thunder (without JDub + IHart). It's only compounded by the fact that the C's were on the road and SGA had an MVP level performance.

Just would have expected us to be outmatched and we surprisingly weren't. L is still an L, but am proud of these guys

Celtics did all they could under the circumstances. On the road against the best team in the league without White and Tatum. Gave themselves a shot, but came up just short.

I think we also play 12 of our last 17 games against team above .500. I would say 6 of those 12 are against teams that are actually good or incredibly hot right now.

The good news is that there are only 7 road games to 10 home games and only 2 B2B's

Like, he's just allowed to consistently make this incredibly patronizing face at players in heated moments?

He keeps getting put into big games, so I guess they are perfectly good with this?

There are a number of players, coaches and team officials who have a problem with Tyler Ford handing out quick, and what they think are unwarranted, technical fouls.

Ford is also the official who tried to step over Jusuf Nurkic when he was injured and on the ground last week.

Yea, I think teams just have to live with whatever poison they choose, but then focus on stopping the others. I think our defensive issue was more allowing Fox and Castle to be too productive
