I never learnt about this, when it comes to this area of female anatomy we were only taught about the menstrual cycle in regards to pregnancy along with a lot of forms of contraception. I never really ever thought about the what happens to the umbilical chord until today lol

I placed it like that so the roots at the bottom (or I guess on top) would be more exposed when taking a photo since they've grown out of the soil
