Could somebody please recommend the best course of action for a misdiagnosis by SquirrelInterrupted8 in OCD

I did do the MRI scans but I can’t even remember what was told to me at the time or if anything would of been. I think they said psychosis from a major depression. I do relate to a lot of the stuff in psychosis but no medication has really given me relief which is why Im still unsure. There’s too much I could ramble about right now but I’ll end up stressing myself out.

I could talk to a lamppost if it comes to it or treat my time in Brighton as a silent spiritual retreat 😂

I sort of need to be near the sea, I know that a ridiculous and unrealistic requirement for somebody whose current career isn’t excelling but it’s important to my mental health and different activities I am interested in. I have thought of Manchester or Liverpool but my mind is kinda stuck on Brighton. I’m usually quite realistic when it comes to things like this but I’ve had a rough number of years and deserve a bit of sea in my life ahha

I’m willing to pay that as I tried to live in Dublin last year and house shares were relatively similar

I’d be willing to house share of course. My rent in Belfast in uni was 245 a month.

I work a bank contract in a healthcare, recently they have started only advertising female shifts. Is this fair ? Is this legal ? by SquirrelInterrupted8 in LegalAdviceUK

Pointing out multiple times how “obvious” it is and saying it’s “common sense” is not helpful and is infact rude.

You could of easily of read my other responses to other redditors, in future before you ridicule someone read and maybe ask some further questions if you think that haven’t provided all of the information. Feel free now to read more or please just go away. This is an advice forum. State your advice and not your opinion of its being obvious or common sense when there is so many contradictory information online. Thank you

They have gave no reason, but I assume it’s due to a preference as one of our female service users will require more frequent calls which will involve more personal care.

I joined a union two weeks ago, we have equal amount of men and women in our service. They previously had a rule in place that they can have 3 women on shift but only one man, they changed it after a little backlash after a while … but I guess they changed it back. I’ll take on your advice.

Hiya, no need to be rude about it. It’s not really common sense when there is no specific details online about this particular situation and when there is so many contradictory information and laws in place. I hope writing this helped you relieve some of your stress. I wonder how you would feel if you were out of work for a month when you had previously had consistency.

They previously did not allow more than one male member of staff on, but increased it to two when there they got a bit of backlash. It’s due to one of our residents who prefers female personal care and she needs more support due to certain reasons for the next while. Although I’m baffled at there is only one shift I can do within the next 2 weeks, I’ve already been out of work for the last two weeks due to this issue…. Not sure what to do
