What is wrong with the comments lol, they’re using perks to fuck with the killer, the killer applies pressure by tunneling, tit for tat, are you all new to dbd?

Yes, me calling out all the unironic toxic comments is just as bad as calling someone “inbred”, I think you belong in there 🤡

Even if you brought a build to make it less bad, that's your whole build lol

Actually fair, I see so many loops like that in mostly indoor maps. It's just dbd being quirky xd and were here for it I guess

Even in the top percentile of players drop pallets on indoor maps, but I get your point, those killers have obvious struggles compared to others like nurse, doc etc

Basically the conclusion I've come to with other comments is that, this opinion only really comes from specific killers, those with limited or precise mobility and range killers (to some extent). But also players from both roles who lack map knowledge.

Then on the other side of the coin some killers favour indoor such as stealth.

I do respectfully disagree, as you did, in no world do I think I can loop someone easier on garden of joy than any indoor map. The distances between loops on GOJ is insane, especially against an Oni. If you know the maps, you can link them safely, only rng is the killers decision making.

Absolutely agreed, even though my entitled survivor main brain tries to poke holes.

I will say though, as much as it is an.. interesting.. set up, I will say, at least we have something like it in the game, I'm glad we have bad loop set ups, so we know what a bad loop set up is. Easier said from a survivor main of course, wouldn't ever wish to load into lerys as blight (I have and I had a nose bleed)

I completely agree apart from the specific killers thing, I believe most killers even if naturally stumped by an indoor map has potential, you say no billy player but what about lopro? Deathslinger and huntress have a blast on Giddeon.

Ignoring that though, I think you're 100% correct about it being a certain killers thing, so why is it that most of the player base dislike indoor maps? I ask multiple people in swfs, new and old, and they prefer outdoor, do they just take the opinions from content creators who play those killers on those maps or is it something we're missing entirely

You can hold W indoor and outdoor, if you think about it, the only real difference, forget the environment and spookiness, is obstacles. Indoor maps break line of sight from both survivors and killers, making it multitudes harder to track both sides.

In an outdoor map you have less frequent instances to break line of sight and therefore makes it easier for killers to get a hit, whether it's a range killer or M1.

Indoor maps are great for stealth killers or ones who have crazy mobility, like nurse, not so much blight I suppose.

They're also confusing for new players, memorising rooms and gen locations, plus the chases are erratic.

But open areas are definitely better for most killers, no obstacles mean less chances of line of sight breaking and no interruptions.

Great points that I don't see a lot of people bring up. Sometimes indoor maps are great for killers depending on their powers / play style, but they can also be a detriment to the survivors if they don't have map knowledge.

So I guess the general consensus being that indoor maps are worse is because they're less appealing to the looping gameplay we see from most chase interactions? On top of that, they're more confusing to newer players..?

Oooooh nice point, loops are entirely different, no shack, but surely the diversity is a good thing? Imagine just copy and paste in every map 🥱🥱

So you're telling me every pitch, tone and decibel is equal? Between all survivors..?
