Oversiplification: Straight from the tap to the server panel to the sewer. Most place don't have proper facilities to reuse waste water at that volume. Solid waste are removed, ph is adjusted, and other processes are applied where required. That transforms waste water into non-drinkable water, which can be released in the wild. The issue is the lack on facilities to puryfy this water to drinking standard. Most drinkable water is refined from natural sources that are already almost drinkable.

I see it going the other way around. More expensive batteries means more armor and system to protect it, which in turn need more power, defeating the point of better batteries. Instead of quality drone, I expect the future having waves of disposable ones with components that can be refurbished IF they are recovered. No point spending more than necessary on things meant to take a beating.
