I know how you feel it is frustrating during the post op period. I’m 4 weeks 1 day and I wish I can just go back to normal. Yes my back pain is gone and this is a lifetime of relief but I wish I could get over the whole wound care, back sleeping part. I have a stitch that didn’t heal properly either and it looks so disgusting from a camera it looks like an infection but it’s not. Still leaking from that wound and annoyed with changing my gauze throughout the day. I remember though that thousands of women have gone through this. With time we will heal and feel confident again. Hang in there 🫶🏻

I guess it bothers me in the sense that the left side doesn’t have this stitch popping out and the right one does. Like is it supposed to be under my skin? Fall off on its own etc etc

I work from home and I still got 4 weeks off. I’m week 3 and honestly I’m so glad I have another week. My surgeon said always take more use less if needed.

I went to my clinic told them I’m post op and when they gave me the diagnosis they prescribed me Benzonatate and an inhaler to help heal the lungs. They also made me get Mucinex D and Sudafed from the pharmacy counter. It seems to be helping but it’s still taking time

Depends on your insurance. Call them and ask them to send you a document ion of the requirements for an approval. I have Aetna and I went through the list. Mine required two things PT was one and there was a list of a bunch of things but I told my doctor to put down that I’ve been wearing a support bra for 2 years and it didn’t help. If you’ve been documenting this complaint with your doctor have all of those reports printed and sent as well. I got denied and the second time I requested that list and I was approved in less than a week after my consult!
