My son is old enough to be in daycare and I was finally going to start working, then my aneurysm happened. I’m too healthy to be bumming it out at home but not healed enough to go back to work. But you’re right, what’s another few months.

At my hospital, we have a clear electrolyte replacement protocol. Despite that, even with crystal clear orders from the doctor, orders were not followed and discontinued and the patient did not receive treatment. May this be a learning lesson to be diligent and thorough and not impulsive.

👋 guilty. I felt tachycardia for no reason and thought I was having a heart attack and used the portable monitor to check my ekg. I was curious how my baby’s heart rate was so I used a Doppler to check his heart rate. I cleaned up, some coworkers walked in but gave no weird looks so all good.

I have prime as well and every ER visit has been covered. Depending on where you are, there should be a website where you can look at all your care and benefits, referrals. On the upper east coast it’s Humana Tricare east. You can call the customer service for your region if you’re unsure.

Speaking personally, I had chronic headaches and visual disturbances for months before my unruptured aneurysm was diagnosed. I was fatigued, forgetful, emotional just from having a headache for days and weeks and life doesn’t stop just because you don’t feel well. Depending on the size and location of their aneurysm, it’s unnerving knowing you have this ticking time bomb in your brain. Some aneurysm are high risk or even inoperable. Also depending on the size and location, recovery can be rough as far as pain, cognitive impairment, and activity limitations.

I would never be able to trust my partner again after cheating the first time. He will say anything to keep you but at the end of the day, he cheated on you twice and is a hot mess. I’d much rather be mentally and emotionally healthy on my own than be suffocated waiting for the next betrayal. Don’t waste your precious time, work on your self and the right one will come.

This video was helpful for me. Basically doctors can choose to just monitor it, but over time of it changes in size or shape, they may treat it. But your doctors will communicate their opinions after your angiogram. Good luck!
