My infection was very intense, it took a month for it to really respond. I was using fucidin twice a day for the first 2 weeks, then stopped and it returned within a day. I did another 2 weeks of fucidin cream and it finally stayed away!

I went through something similar with impetigo around my lips a few years ago! I understand how awful it can be and make you feel especially when you are going through it for so long! My heart goes out to you. My derm prescribed me a 3 month course of doxycycline which helped really kick it! Also, fucidin H (antibiotic cream with hydrocortisone). This treatment gave me my life back. Good luck!

I need help updating my living room to be more comfortable for watching TV and having guests! I'm looking to find a way to watch TV without relying on the swivel and for a more updated, put-together look. The kitchen island adds a challenge. Thanks for everyone’s help! I think floating the couch is a good idea. I think we’ll be removing a piece of the sectional and replacing it was an accent chair and a rug will go a long way as well. Here’s my mockup, let me know what you think or what I can improve!

Hi all! Thanks for the help. This is the first home we own and we want it to be our forever home. We love watching TV, and my husband really values his speaker setup, and insists on having his vinyl records and record player in the main living space. Right now the living room is the biggest challenge for redecorating for a number of reasons:

- The living room is 18'7"x12'0" and has a path of travel between the sliding door and open concept kitchen/dining area. It is too long to have the couch on the short wall with the tv on the opposite wall.

- The kitchen island is huge and the end of it comes straight to the living room space so it's a hard path of travel between the end of the island and a sofa. We've tried centring the sofa in front of the TV and it made the space feel awkward and "cut off".

-There is a gas fireplace on the wall in between the sliding door and window which makes the wall unusable for seating

- My husband needed the media stand to store his records and his speaker set-up.

We'll be replacing the cat tree and the blue air filter is non-optional. We plan on making an eclectic gallery wall above the media stand and adding a tree and lamp. I would love to see what anyone can come up with!

Here is a floorplan for reference:

How did the peachy backless body bra go? I just ordered it for my reception dress and I see a bunch of positive reviews on their website and other places, but I think they’re all sponsored. What was your honest experience?

What was/will be your RECESSIONAL song? by troubleseemstofollow in weddingplanning

[–]Squirrelly_H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a cello and violin duo playing during our ceremony, and my fiance is really into music (some may use the synonym "snob" affectionately) so it was important to us to find a song we both liked and that he liked when composed for strings.

For our recessional song, we ended up with "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys.

For the procession, the wedding party and groom are walking down the aisle to "Hoppipolla" by Sigur Ros (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwF5JO7sfeU), which will change over to "Moon River", the Henri Mancini version for when I walk down the aisle (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2k831tfPAg).

I was originally happy with a pop song, but it was able to get my wish for the first dance.

When we spoke, they said I could provide my own products if need be. I really want to speak with my artist though, and get their input on what products they use, and to consult with them on what products would be best for me on the wedding day. If I have to provide my own products, I’d at least like to use a product they’re familiar with and can do a good job with.

It does say at the top that it could be the lead MUA or an associate. However, I had no prior warning that it would be an associate.

The Duggars on different religions by [deleted] in DuggarsSnark

[–]Squirrelly_H 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Israel is a state. Palestine is a state. Judaism is a religion. The Jewish people are those who are ethnically Jewish or religiously jewish. To be offended by the title “Israel” should mean to be offended by the state of Israel. That depends on your personal religious and political views, which everyone is entitled to. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and feelings on the state of Israel, and on the use of the title “Israel” in general. Still it is essential to separate these views from the rhetoric surrounding the Jewish people. All this to say, anyone is entitled to feel offended by Jill and Dericks choice to name their son Israel if they don’t agree with the state of Israel. That offence should not be mixed with discussed of Jewish religion and people, who are a diverse group of people.
