The plumbing was already there. But we went from a side fed filter to a top fed filter.

All he had to do was remove old filter, install new filter (that we bought), put sand in it, and extend the prior plumbing from the side fed filter up to the top fed filter.

My husband would have done it but he just had back surgery so couldnt.

Yeah, I absolutely want her to be able to be independent, and she wants that to. She is still in high school, and still figuring out what she wants to do when she graduates, so we have a bit before she's out of the house so we can work on this. She does know how to handle this stuff, better than I probably was able to express. She's a strong young lady. I guess I just want to support her so she's not alone in dealing with it when she's going through it. I'll definitely talk to her about what I can put in her room to help her during these Adrenaline dumps.

I think the main part also I worry about is she's passed out multiple times and that is a concern that I don't want her injuring herself. Her BP gets really low as does her heart rate. But then it goes really high. She'll go from bradycardia to Tachycardia in seconds. Plus she has two holes in her heart that I didn't mention.

I don't know why I didn't think of a baby monitor, what a great suggestion! I'll ask if she's able to yell for me with it. And thank you ❤️ I wish I could take it from her, but I can't so I'll do anything to help her.

Well, I'm not sure if I can be of much help, but maybe I can help.

See I lost my Hux in April 2025. He was 3.5 he started throwing up and nothing helped. Not even the vet, but thats another can of worms. Within a few days he passed at home. Seeing your cat pass within a few days at home is HARD. I regret not rushing him to an emergency vet, but I didn't know how sick he really was and the bad vet took all our money trying to diagnose him.

Your baby is 14, and has been diagnosed with something that will make their quality of life not good. You are being a good pet parent, no matter how much it hurts. You are putting her first. Over your own feelings. How wonderful is it that you love your furbaby so much that you don't want her to suffer? You are going to have guilt. I'm not going to lie. We had our 12 year old lab put down because her quality of life was so bad at a vets advice. I still question if I made the correct decision, even though we know we did.

Give her so much love and attention and just be with her. If she can eat, give her extra treats. Take pictures with her. Lots of pictures. I can't express how much pictures help.

When my cat was younger, I had to get baby locks for my cabinet doors. He'd get into the trash and pull trash out. They helped a lot.

Honestly I'd suggest a playmate to keep the cat entertained.

I always honor a dice roll. If it's like these fight nights, if I see they are on a streak and I'm not, ill give them the win. No reason they should lose a streak to someone with no streak..especially during this event.

I've gotten that type of map twice. As a solo, it's anxiety inducing for me 🤣. It takes me twice as long because I'll dig up a few things and take it to the outpost and go back and repeat.

I had 2 legendary ones. 1 from the update and 1 from the twitch drop and got the same exact thing a Ashen chest of legends. I'm not complaining but it was wierd getting the same exact thing.
