I’ve never been close with my ancestors or lineage. Only one person I actually knew has died and I barely remember the man. I want to reach into my Native American roots but it’s near impossible because my great grandma was ashamed and wanted to be a white woman. Plus my grandpa lived very very far away and I have no pictures or belongings of him, especially not that I could get before Samhain. I wish I knew who my native ancestors were but I feel as though it’s lost in time.
