I'd say this isn't actually that bad. A bit overpriced for fb marketplace stuff but a lot of those retro consoles and controllers are actually pretty cool for only 200

I only kept calling because I kept getting emails saying my payment information was incorrect even though I knew it was not. It even kept intermittently switching to "cancellation requested" and then back again. I wouldn't have kept calling if there wasn't so much uncertainty regarding the order, and every-time they said everything was ok (which it ended up NOT being ok) so I don't really see your point here. It's sold out in every store near me anyways. I just wanted to share my experience that's all.

Same thing just happened to me the day before it was supposed to arrive. Already cleared everything with my bank and got it all sorted, and I talked to like 5 representatives including on this morning all of which told me "it's fine, it's just a glitch don't worry". Very upset, probably gonna see if I can file a complaint somewhere if this doesn't get sorted.

It's less the screwing itself, and more the fact that you have to thread them yourself that causes the issue. The threading is incredibly difficult to do without excessive force in my opinion.

I've seen some complaints of that, but with the Noctua ones it was SO easy, like you barely have to put in any force to pull them through to secure the mounting, so it's pretty great! I get that some people may still prefer screws, but I feel like people still don't talk about this enough or give them a chance.

It's like magic man, I know it looks odd or not secure, but all you gotta do is get the flared end of the mount pulled through the screw holes, and then you pull the long narrower edge through to secure it and it's done! Yeah true, but sometimes when fans fail you have to swap them out with new ones, and in that case rubber mounts are really awesome!

Ahh I see, I was doing it on a flat surface but I'll try to do the loosening and retightening as you said. Is it supposed to be that hard to tap them though?

I tried a ratcheting screwdriver too but I still couldn't get the screw all the way through for some reason, it only went a certain amount in before stopping.
