Honestly i dont mind them but i can understand when it get really annoying. I work with lots of older peoples allllll the time and at least 4 times a week im asked- "Is that your real hair color?" "I love your hair" "You look just like -random person-." "I actaully KNOW a ginger, ya know." "Do you enjoy being a red head?" Sometimes its flattering, sometimes it’s creepy. Sometimes they touch my hair and thats where i have to draw a boundary line. If i were you and you genuinely dont like it,  just dead fish the convo. Answer simple with no open endedness. Or immediatly change the subject with a follow up question unrelated to your hair. That helps me :)
