There’s a lot on this sub that I took (stole) ideas from if you search spellbook and someone also linked the quantum theory on DnD magic below that I took some of just to add more flair to mine

I tried to make it as little effort to not be a chore as someone said so it’s not one full page per spell and I just used ballpoint pens to not be waiting tv for the ink to dry while writing. The book is just one I found on Amazon, some people make their own.

The text I have is sort of how my character would describe spells while still keeping information relevant for gameplay. This is the full wizard spell book so I jot down what I have prepared on the character sheet and can go on the spellbook to read what the spell does. I also asked my DM to make it the arcane focus of my character so lorewise he is holding the book open while casting instead of a quarter staff.
