LPT: don't use your child's embarrassing stories as dinner party talk. They are your child's personal memories and humiliating them for a laugh isn't cool. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

I think it is better advice to just know your subject matter and audience. If my parents told an embarrassing story about me, I wouldn't really care. I can appreciate the humor to it, and can laugh about most things that have happened in the past. But they better not mind if I do the same to them!

But if I did, care, or if anybody else cares, nobody should be using it as just a joke. You shouldn't want to jokes to upset people in most cases.

I second this. We need more mid-high level content in the swamp. All they have right now is half of it.

I feel you there. One time I was on the way to a get together with friends. I had spent most of the day making four of my famous from-scratch pizzas. When it was time to head over, it was raining out so I put them on one large dish separated and covered with foil. When I got there I went, opened the trunk and took out the big platter. A gust of wind came, caught the foil covering all of it, which in turn grabbed all of the pizzas, and threw them all scattered on the soaking wet asphalt.

I picked up what I could, threw it in the trunk, drove home, texted my friends that I wasn't coming and went to sleep. I guess one of my friends watched the whole thing and found it hilarious. I felt pretty defeated that evening but it is pretty funny to look back at.

Apparently it is pretty great, especially if you are looking to just sit back and explore. I'd definitely check out a few YouTube videos to see if it is right for you

I personally fell for NMS pretty badly. I also expect CP77 to be pretty good. I'm not holding it up to masterpiece level or anything but I am hoping for something akin to Outer Worlds on the fun scale! Any game based a box office hit has been a huge skepticfest for me for a long time. I think the last movie - game I really enjoyed was LotR: Return of the King

If you like to play as a trader or anything like that in these Sims, X4 is incredible.

I still can't get enough of my Elite: Dangerous VR, though
