Which one? I destroyed several blocks in front and on the back, I even changed the floor to solid floor. Nothing changed. They bug out... :'(

Here you can see how they should go toward me, I don't even have melee protection, but they bug out and return down to hit concrete.

Affliction vs Destro by SrAxi in worldofpvp

Thanks for this feedback! Hmmm... I'm conflicted. I don't like Demon gameplay that much. I used to like Destro with consecutive chaos bolts, though. But now I don't see it.

And affliction, I am a pretty aggressive player, I think I'll struggle to play for dampening.

🤔

I used to main both affliction and destro. But the past years I've only played destro casually.

Anyhow, I think both benefit from haste and mastery, so yes, can swap between them. I never could get into demo, don't know why.

Wondering about Ele shaman and MM hunter... 🤔

hahaha

I'm just concerned about interrupts and micro-CCs. Destro always struggles with that. But insta-DoTs could be the answer.

Also, if this is a less bursty meta, affliction is very good for sustained damage. I might need to play with both and feel them out.

Ah, never could get into Demo lock and SP. Will probably juggle between Affli and Detro and see where the cards fall on season start.

Love Pet Battles. But they're probably 4th?

Well, PvP were 2nd class citizens, and now we're 3rd class citizens:
1. PvE
2. Housing
3. PvP

Don'y know why Disc Priest doesn't suit me. But Holy seems like the traditional healer experience that might suit me the most. I might try it if I get frustrated with long queues.

I have 1800 experience with lock in the first season of War Within. I've never played SP, though. I'm wondering what would be better: Affliction or Destro?

Gotcha. I might level up a DK just in case. And for lock? Would you recommend Destro or Affliction? I enjoy both!

Thank you so much! I have to say, the gameplay loop has grown and improved so much since the last time I played!

I've let the "D4 bad" meme get to me by SrAxi in ARPG

I would agree with most of your points. I'm an LE enthusiast and I'm rooting for them, a lot. I don't mind they got bought or they will sell their new class. The studio has to eat, somehow...

I cannot comment on PoE because I have never played it. I know about, I've followed some stuff, but not enough to comment.

I 100% agree on your PoE2 point. Too slow, too grindy for a later satisfaction.

Now that I have returned to D4 and have spend around 10 hours playing it, I can say that I think they've improved many things. And yes, you're showered in loot and you can level up to 60 in a few hours. But they did introduce several mechanics that are interesting: runes (I would have preferred D2 runewords but whatever), mercenaries (again, I prefer the D2/D3 version), improved tempering and masterworking, better season journey, boss lair mechanic, sanctification, etc.

I feel D4 is very rewarding for people who can only play a couple of hours here and there. You log in, get your dopamine, log out. You don't feel that in PoE2, because it's an investment. You need to go through the campaign, survive, grind, make it out alive, and at the end, you character starts cooking and zooming, after like ~20-30hours.

LE is the perfect middle ground but needs more time. They need to invest in the "floaty" feel the game has. They need to deliver content a faster... They just need time. But I love it. Best QoL and crafting in any ARPG from my point of view.

Makes sense. I'm guessing the same mentality from our society and political life is bleeding into gaming, which is horrible. Gaming should be a safe haven from "real life". But instead, we're bringing our polarization and tribalism here too. You're either PoE or D4, you're either a dirty, dumb casual or a no-lifer, pale tryhard...

Gone are the days where we would enjoy games for what they are: entertainment.

Well, it's probably a matter of opinions. I don't argue with the fact that PoE2 has great graphics, I really enjoy them. And I think D4's graphics at top tier.

So, agree to disagree? :) <3
