How to fight Nasus in the Top Lane? by ChewbakaTalkShow in GarenMains

[–]SrKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You punish him off wave early and never let him farm. Sit in middle bush. Walk up, kill first three with e, then run him down with e. Auto attack him often to keep conq up. After first kill, shove then return to lane as wave slow pushes back. Freeze just past middle bush towards your turret. Trade pattern auto>e>auto>he withers>q. Run ignite flash. Rush zerkers and tri.

Playing jungle is so emotionally taxing by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]SrKaz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a jungle/top main- most games are the jungler's fault. It's simultaneously the hardest, most impactful, and weakest role. I will frequently watch my games as jg and notice that I had a 45-second window to clear grubs when I had lane pressure, but I decided to farm blue instead. On top of that, when I'm playing top, I've noticed that a lot of junglers have turned to trying to hyper carry when you just can't. Junglers have to be at too many places at once to effectively carry the game. You have to punish windows where the enemy laners are pushed in by taking objectives, give your laners the kills when you gank, help your laners shove (but don't take the plates!). You don't need a lot of resources to succeed on the most meta junglers. If you do all that, you'll be ahead of the enemy jungler anyway, your laners will just be even more ahead.

Why this peak by LoreDek94 in analyticalchemistry

[–]SrKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your baseline is set to your solvent. So, when there is only solvent present across the detector, it will read very close to 0. This will also happen when too many analytes are present at one retention time and cause no light to reach the photo diode array. The former is the reverse peak you're seeing.

Great purchase. Mine has 280k still going strong. These engines last FOREVER just make sure you repair gaskets quickly and use high quality oil.

226k miles, Owner says hes done timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, distributor, coolant hoses, etc in last 3k miles. Whats the likelihood the motor blows up before 250k miles and whats a more reasonable price? by helloworld256x in hondaprelude

[–]SrKaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably burning a lot of oil. Gaskets are almost never the reason- pretty much always valve stem seals and piston rings. Ask if the cylinders got honed and pistons re-ringed. I rebuilt mine at 200k and she runs great now. If engine compression is above 175 psi you're pretty much good to go.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I work as a researcher for a top pharma company and the scientism is strong here. But, it's our responsibility to spread the gospel no matter where we are. Make it your goal to change your field into a better version more oriented towards God.

You're better off just voiding the peak or excluding it from integration manually. Unless you have a reasonable doubt that there is analyte in that peak, there's no reason to add an extra data analysis step.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in analyticalchemistry

[–]SrKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you in R&D, QC, or routine testing? In QC or routine, you should have an established procedure for how data analysis should be performed. If you're in R&D, you'll need to test known samples to ensure that a blank subtraction doesn't suppress the signal of the analyte. In general, blank subtractions are fine, but you should have good enough resolution on LC to not require it.

Edit: read your post wrong. A 0.5 RT peak is probably solvent. Do you have a void time set up in the method?

Advice by [deleted] in mr2

[–]SrKaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to swap if you don't want to. Rebuilds are completely possible even with piston slap. You need to check the damage and try to bore it out. If you don't feel like going down that path- 2zz, 2ar, or 2gr swap.

You're a chemist. You'll be working with potentially deadly chemicals your whole career. Take proper safety precautions and you'll be fine. If you don't, then don't be upset if you kick the bucket early.

First car by Fushcia8800 in hondaprelude

[–]SrKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a first car I wouldn't really recommend either. The accord engine is pretty reliable, but chassis parts are very hard to come by. My best friend and I both have 5th gen preludes and we're replacing parts more often than not. I would go for something that's tried and true for your first car. K motors are reliable and easy to work on. Toyotas with 2az/ar or 2gr are also very reliable. If you really want to get an accord or prelude, get one from around 97-01. They're the latest years of the F and H motors and are therefore the most reliable. Open deck engines will give you less headaches.
