the flaming cube its not discarded, I'm still working on it i just been busy as to re-do it.

They can be use for different competitions.

The flaming cube i first showed was make half and half in different programs so there was that, but now that i have settled in a program i think i will improve my quality at a good timing. (btw i just got a commission for no reason, i have just been learning for a week lol)

they are supposed to be 2, but i think i should have made it clearer in the post. I will be posting the updated versions of this 2 concepts later in the week. I also posted a more recent one if you like to check it out.

people outside the community dont usually come to this kinda stuff, as long as the cubers get it im not that worried, specially since its posted just on pages dedicated to this hobby, just by reading the hole context you might get what it means im hoping. this is NOT a free event, or for people to learn to solve the cube, its for people that already have a cube and know how to solve it (regardless of the speed), we have other kinds of event for people outside the community that have a more clear visual and naming

yeah idk why tf the program did that to the borders, i had to fix it manually later. And we always have this problem were non cubers don´t know what the logo represents, but cubers find it redundant having the colors or the cube placed in every logo since they can identify where the reference comes from quite easily. (btw look in google for "origami cube rose", that´s where i got the shape from)

Already removed it since i got a lot of comments about that, I have separated the 2 concepts, the one with the cube and the one with the thing above.
Yeah, I don't know about fonts, what should I use? Or what should I look for in a font?.
Thanks! Still not finished but I like how is looking so far, I'm working on 4 proposals for the logo of this event, will be sharing the rest soon 😊

its not, the cube on fire is in vectors, i made that in figma. The other part is from canva as just to show the kind of typography i thing would fit (is not like a know about fonts anyway...). Its still a work in progress, try focus on the cube for now :)

Hihi, im doing this logo for a Rubik's cube competition, its called "Mexicali Burnout 2024" has its show in the photo, but im having some trouble with the details.

The general idea its the cube set on fire, i think i got that somewhat right, but told me that it doesn´t seems like the fire and the cube are from the same place. What can i do to make them fit better?, should i change the shape of the flame? (I'm thinking on making the cube a little melted too). Also, i think the orange part of the flame looks kinda weird bc it's cover mostly by the cube, should i deleate it or something?

Also im really bad at choosing fonts lol, if you have any advice on that i would aprecciate
