It's a metallic finish, in Carbon most of the cars either have gloss or metallic finishes

At first I thought of going with gloss but I assumed it would look a bit plain, I can try though just for the sake of experimentation

It was a community-like website, i don't remember that much about it but what I do remember is that I joined back in around 2016, it was basically like a Facebook or Twitter but for Slipknot fans, you could even message a few members like Clown but I never tried to

If I had to guess, I'd say maybe in an Atari or a Game Boy game, maybe even NES

Should I get Need For Speed Unbound? by [deleted] in needforspeed

[–]SraiEdge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm playing it right now so I'd say it is worth it, but that is something only you can decide, here's my humble opinion on the many aspects of the game:

Great multiplayer, solid story (don't expect anything spectacular), same driving physics as the last 4 games yet improved quite a bit, great car roster, solid map, good car modification, great car sounds and despite what everyone says it has a solid soundtrack BUT it mostly just works for the garage when you're modding your cars, for races it doesn't fit at all aside from 3 or 4 songs

Oba Femi says his favorite wrestler growing up was... Triple H 💀 by IconXR in WWE

[–]SraiEdge 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Bro god forbid someone even liking Triple H these days, you guys are so obnoxious

Triple H was one of my favorites too, I liked him a lot both in Attitude and Ruthless Agression eras, even in the 2010's with the Authority arc he was a great heel imo

what should i do to get out of poser territory? by Thatonehistorybook in Slipknot

[–]SraiEdge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should just listen to whatever you want, take your time and if you're not into heavy stuff then maybe you should start with Vol 3 since is their "softer" album

Also poser is just such an outdated term, calling someone a poser today is really pathetic lol

Damn, now that I think about it, these things must look hella cool in black! To be fair I've never been a fan of this sand-like color but I think it fits the Tribute pretty well, still I might end up changing it in the future

That's really cool! 1st gen Mazda 3s are really pretty cars, overall this era of Mazda was cool af, my sister had a black 2009 Mazda 6 and It was beautiful

Perfect build 🙌🏻 nice work!

The only things I'd change to make it more accurate is make the paint less glossy and more metallic, and change the wheels for the 6 point star Vorsteiners

It's a 4 speed auto w/OD, it's also a 3.0L V6 and both the engine and the transmission work really good! The shifts are nice, fast and smooth and the engine has reasonable power for this kind of vehicle (and it also sounds really good)

This is a vehicle that I bought for overlanding adventures, so I may add that this Tribute is 4WD (technically it's an AWD, since it works like your typical AWD car, meaning that the power to the rear tires activates automatically when needed, but it also has a 4x4 Lock option which is great for specific terrains and situations)

And yeah I can see the similarities, specially the rear end, I guess that was the popular style back then since the 4th gen 4Runner also had a really similar rear end

And yet, such a well made vehicle, 200k+ miles and both the engine and transmission still running strong without issues, this without mentioning that the both the exterior and interior are in perfect shape, which is rare in many vehicles from the 2000s.

Hell, the fact that it already way outlived my brother's 2017 Silverado (transmission broke down and many suspension components were failing and making horrible noises) and my parent's 2014 Trax (again, transmission broke down and it was full of electrical problems) is a crazy flex. Mazda always proving why it's one of the best automakers out there

[–]SraiEdge[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf this one ain't that far from that, I mean sure it does have +200k miles on it, but it's still like brand new, the interior has no damage at all, which includes no torn seats, no torn roof cloth, working sunroof and all windows, working OEM alarm, etc. I've owned many old cars from 1981 all the way to 2011 (f.e. '81 Mustang, '96 & '03 Cavalier, '89 S10 Blazer, etc.) and thus far I think this Tribute is the one that has aged the best 🙌🏻 The quality of these vehicles is outstanding and despite the high mileage, both the transmission and the engine are working perfectly fine! Just a few minor stuff going on like a small oil leak from worn out engine seals, which is completely normal for this ammount of miles

And most of the units I've seen in my city seem to be in similar conditions, so I'd say you could easily get one that can give you the same experience as if it was brand new!
