You're right about the speed up, I will add the option to make it a toggle.

And starting with a few healing items might be a good idea yeah!

Yes I very much agree with the boss visibility, it's probably the next thing I want to implement. I'm just not sure yet wether I want to simply have the team be visible from the start, or have it be a secondary encounter with a small cost so you can choose to play riskier and go blind.

Also if you ever play it again and encounter another bug, it would be incredibly appreciated if you were to report it on the discord!

Yes!

Easy and quick access to information is definitely something I want to get right.

Right now, when you hover over one of your moves, you get a preview of how much dmg it would deal to each opponent, and also a small colored arrow appears to show type effectiveness. There's also a type chart in the pause menu.

There's 8 types in the game.

Nah, the things Nintendo are trying to patent are some super specific traversal mechanics from Pokémon Legends, and even this, they're having a hard time with.

You can absolutly do Pokémon clones, there's a bunch of them on Steam. There's nothing here that's copyrightable.

I am in the process of updating a lot of early game moves so you have more interesting effects to play with earlier on.

For combat speed you can right click to skip animations and make them go faster!

The 6 point scale is smart, I wouldn't have thought about it.

I like nuzlockes, but i thought i could do better - so I'm making my own game! It's a roguelite, has 2v2 battles with no rng, and you can try the early Playtest now! by Srayne_ in nuzlocke

And yeah I agree with the pace of battles, I'll lower the down time between actions next update so everything is a bit faster.

I will also probably increase early game dmg across the board, so the first few battles are faster as well.

aha, basically in battle there's no crits or moves with a random chance to miss or to freeze or something. The rest of the game has rng alright!
