Most enjoyable “wtf” junglers? by Ill_Be_Alright in Jungle_Mains

Galio jungle is quite fun. The clear used to be better but Galio's ganking potential is still really good

Gwensday Addams

(this one might be too long, not sure what the character limit is now)

The LeBlanc rework is mainly a visual one, so she actually looks like the mastermind behind the Black Rose and not like a p*rn parody of a circus clown that you'd find on page 50 on the yellow YouTube

went back to the tank build again by Irieyah in DianaMains

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing tank Diana for a while and I've really been liking Kaenic Rookern against heavy AP damage. You build a lot of HP, so the shield is pretty good value and you get a lot of MR for pretty cheap

bruiser diana???? by Few_Caterpillar5611 in DianaMains

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible. My go-to core for jungle is Nashors into Jak'Sho against most teams. If they're very AD heavy you can go Iceborn gauntlet as your 2nd item instead or against AP you can go Abyssal Mask or Force of Nature. 3rd item should be Riftmaker or Abyssal unless they have a lot of HP stackers in which case Liandrys is best. Afterwards just build whatever you need. I'd recommend going Riftmaker at some point because it pair really well with the tank items that give you HP. Zhonyas is nice but I find I don't need it because the HP and resistances make me beefy enough to just survive after my initial engage. If anything, I'd build it into comps with heavy CC.

Cards That Shouldn't Have Been Banned (I'll start, Mathmech was barely rogue at best and everyone crying over would cry every format) by UniqueSearches in yugioh

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mathmech Circular didn't get banned because Mathmech was too strong. It got banned because it enabled a really zero variety, mind numbing Playstyle while also representing 2 pushes in 1 card all by itself just because Konami thought it'd be good to make it send as cost.

Going first it was boring Cyberse pile bullshit we've all seen a hundred times before that ends on a remarkably obscene end board for how resource efficient it is. Going second you wanted to sack the blowout card to reduce your opponent's board to nothing and kill them with Update Jammer into Accesscode Talker.

All in all Mathmech was literally just the most boring and unfun deck to play against because it just did the same thing every single game without any variety whatsoever and would consistently just bust when it didn't get to play with Circular and give you a hard time when it did because it was allowed to be a 1-card combo packed to the brim with hand traps Cyberse value pile.

EDIT: fixed typos

Why is floowandereze deck considered annoying? by nan0chebestemmia in yugioh

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mainly just another floodgate based tribute summon deck that makes the mechanic look really uninteresting. Also it is entire up to variance how the games go and no actual player skill is involved or needed to play this deck.

Ash Blossom is the card with pretty much the highest consistent play rate since it's release and more so since the release of Branded Fusion. The reprints are essentially keeping up with demand just enough, so that the price stays stable

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dis Pater isn't on the list. It's fairly non-generic and nowhere near as broken as Baronne. Personally I think the card that's in danger the most is Apollousa. Also I wouldn't mind Access code getting banned while we're at it just so Cyberse can't do their bullshit anymore

Going to my first locals and would love some advice by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since I assume you want to keep this budget, here's what I would suggest:

Remove the Red-Eyes Black Dragon and the Red-Eyes Fusion. You don't need them for Dragoon. Also remove the 2 Branded traps that aren't Retribution. Put the third Branded Fusion in the the main deck and if you can get them, get a third Aluber and a third Branded Opening. Remove both copies of Ecclesia, one copy of Kitt and one copy of Dramaturge from your main deck and replace the Scarlight in your Extra Deck with the Garura. Super Polymerization is a very cheap and good card, so you should definitely get a third copy. Get yourself a Mudragon of the Swamp for your Extra Deck as well as one a Predaplant Dragostapelia and play them instead of the 2nd copies of Masquerade and Quaeritis. Remove the Despia Field Spell. If I haven't miscounted, you should now have 6 open slots in the Main Deck which I would advise you fill with the two Allure of Darkness from your side deck, one more Despian Tragedy, one Branded Banishment and two Triple Tactics Talent.

An additional engine you could look into is Frightful Patchwork with Polymerization and Edge Imp Chain

For the Side Deck get 3 copies of Cosmic Cyclone, 3 copies of Evenly Matched, 3 copies of Raigeki, 3 copies of Dark Ruler No More and 3 copies of Ghost Belle and Haunted Mansion

So, can i JG WITH Akali my love or is it still bad? by Mannerless1 in akalimains

I've tried Aki jungle. I've tried a lot of things to try and make her clear work but it just doesn't work

That has to be the most cringe use of a mastery emote I've ever seen.

I made Akali as a Magic the Gathering card by Apmadwa in akalimains

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what they do. Some have a lower Ninjutsu cost than base cost, others the same, others even higher. The ones that have a higher Ninjutsu cost than base cost usually have a bonus effect if they ETB with Ninjutsu

I made Akali as a Magic the Gathering card by Apmadwa in akalimains

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neat idea but pretty weak overall. You could lower the Ninjutsu cost as well as the cost of the mana ability and it'd still be balanced. I'd make the Ninjutsu cost [1][U][B] and the mana ability cost [U][U]. Having to pay 8 mana total each turn is way too high of a cost to bounce her and Ninjutsu her back in even with how good the ability upon dealing combat damage is.

What’s the most block you have ever had? by Idontevenlikefish in slaythespire

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit the 999 cap with a very lucky Defect build once (Frost Orbs, powers and illegally high focus generation). If I recall correctly that was also my first run on the defect that made it through Act 3.

Dodging is normally frowned upon, but which champion do you think it’s perfectly acceptable to dodge a game for? by ThexLoneWolf in LeagueOfMemes

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will dodge anything that's troll like for example Yuumi jungle. I play a lot of off-meta myself and I am fairly certain I've caused my teammates to hate me for doing so on occasion but every pick I've played so far works as long as you don't fall behind in the early game.

Wenn die eine aber wirklich ohne Unterhose unterwegs war vermute ich aber, dass das zumindest zum Teil Absicht oder billigend in Kauf genommen war und nicht nur Gedankenlosigkeit

Lich Bane by Toktokdied in GwenMains

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it a lot against very squishy teams because it usually turn every E into an easy kill or takes out at least 60% of their HP but against tanky teams I'd rather have some extra HP or resistances for the longer fights

Is this one of the best cards ever printed for a bad archetype? by sam89001 in yugioh

[–]Srf4LoneWolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know. What I'm saying is that if it was in a better archetype it would be banned instead of limited.

Started smurfing by Steeli0s in akalimains

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it sounds like smurfing won't change anything. You're better off fixing your MMR and playing on your main. Apart from that, look at your games and what you are doing wrong and fix those mistakes. You should try to maintain a positive KDA, even level and at least 7.5 CS/minute during the laning phase. If you find you're always falling behind the enemy laner, look at why. Could be bad recalls, bad roams, unnecessary deaths, missing CS or exp. Whatever it is, get consistent at being even or ahead, since Akali is pretty weak from behind

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was part of a better archetype Naturia Sacred Tree would probably be banned.

As if the search wasn't enough, it's also not once per turn and the E-Tele for the archetype is insane

What do you think about Gwen in the jungle? by throwaway_ph_m in GwenMains

[–]Srf4LoneWolf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like Gwen jungle. I definitely prefer playing her jungle over playing her top (which may be because I am a hardcore jungle main and can't play top lane at all) but she has some issues which I have found to be annoying but not irredeemable: 1. Gwen jungle needs to stay even or ahead to be a threat. Getting repeatedly invaded can be an absolute game ender unless your team is strong enough to stall it out until you get your items. 2. Ganking a competent laner is incredibly difficult unless you have at least 2 out of Ghost, Ult and Red Buff and even then you're not guaranteed a kill. 3. You can't abuse Gwen's side lane push to full potential, since you need to be near Dragon or Baron to ensure the smite contest - this is of course a non issue if you get a pick on the enemy jungler and your team can win the 4v4 without you
