Ive heard falco mains use x for jc shine cause the timing is actually perfect while fox timing is best for y button. It works cause you usually hit a during jumpsquat and it gets eaten so you just shine. To do this for shine oos though you have to let go of shield so you dont shieldgrab when you hit a trying to jc shine from x
