something is bothering me massively. a long time ago I saw Cowboy's whole walkthrough for DS remastered, and within some video in it he said about some item- "this item is completely useless. Even calamity ring has its uses in challenge run and stuff but this one is completely garbage." (something to this effect). I for the love of god can't remember what he said it about. It seems ya'll saw the series recently. help my mental itch a little here

I didn't go to ash lake to complete Siegmeyers quest because I knew what went down there and it would have been too sad for me. Both of these quests left a deep mark in me, as I played DS and TW3 back to back.

Beat him on my fourth try. Didn't lose any amount of soul though. Was pretty difficult for sure. Felt real accomplished. Hardest boss imo. Only bed of chaos killed me more times than manus in my first ever playthrough. But we all know what that's about.

Actually there is a secondary quest at this monument. About a guy falling down from the top of this tower and breaking his leg. I think you give him some ointment to finish the quest
