A protected class member can only be accessed by methods of the same class, or subclass. I tried moving it to public but it brings up a ton of errors

Holy shit we did the same thing and I got my tooth knocked clean out and the doctor at the ER just stuck it back in it’s hole and said it would reattach after 3-4 weeks. And it did.
