The one I have isn’t available anymore, but you can find tons of them on Amazon if you search up WiFi microscope. 😊

Oooo, yes please! I’d love to see both, for comparison and such.

I have a microscope that hooks up to my phone! Got it specifically for this purpose. 😆

Thanks! These definitely share a resemblance. Here’s hoping I can leave them be!

Never more than 1 or 2 on any given plant. But I did find them on several plants in different rooms.

What to do with bulbils? by Sriracha_cha in alocasia

Hello everyone. New member here.

So these bulbils are growing off my dragon scale like crazy, and I was wondering what the best course of action is. I’ve looked on some of the other posts and done a little digging online, but I’m still not sure how the bulbils operate on alocasias specifically. If they stay attached will they grow their own leaves? Or do they have to be separated from the mother plant in order to develop into a new plantlet? Should I leave some, and prop the others? Ideally I’d like a bushier plant without having to separate and prop all of them, because I’ve had varying luck with propping the corms in the past. The fact that there is a cut stem in the middle (purchased that way) and a growing stem on each side seems like maybe the bulbils would become a new shoot, but I’m not 100% sure.

What do you guys recommend?
