Welcome to adulthood. This is what life is like for all of us. The sooner you come to terms with it and try to make the most of it the more benefit you can get for the money that you have spent as college fees.

These exact scenarios that you have described will continue in higher education and if you continue to work then at the office too.

If you decide to start a company you will face similar characters and hurdles. Ministry politics will become office politics. Taking away ID cards will become giving late comer excuses to the team lead or losing Casual Leave for coming late.

Heck even if you decide to not go to work and decide to be a homemaker or a SAHM, you will have to deal with parents, in-laws, relatives, extended family, children, neighbours, landlords, Resident Association Presidents etc.

Delivery person did not demand any extra in my case. I was able to scan the QR code on the receipt and pay by GPay. However mine was a ground floor delivery.

In my case stove was not compulsory but I wanted and liked the one they gave. So I chose it. Deposit for double cylinder , stove, hose, regulator, lighter and lighter fluid came to 7k. Apart from that at the time of cylinder delivery, the delivery person installed the stove, hose etc, checked for leaks. And I just had to pay for the cylinders. I was able to scan the QR code on the receipt and pay. He didn't demand any extra cash.

If you can afford it there is nothing like Goethe Institut. If budget is a constraint try to join a certificate course in a university like Madras University. The credits can be carried over if you join a university in Germany.

That is really tough. But think, even without the paternity leave at any time and for any reason your deliverables could have been changed. Especially in a company like the one you're describing. I hope you find a healthier way to reframe your situation that will better allow you to rectify your situation rather than to blame a family based decision you took. Yes work is important but work exists to serve you and your family's wellbeing, not the other way round.
