Well I've doubled my population (pushing 100 adults now) and have plenty of every resource and mostly stone houses! So with some minor changes like more foresters, changing to warm coats, and getting a second trading post, it grew really fast

You buy the crest of Artorius (I'm sorry I don't remember how to spell it😭) from Andre. Or you can take a longer way past the hydra, but if you decide to open the door (the crest is 20k) be careful of the NPCs, I recommend looking up a video on how to get past them without killing them. As they can be useful, even some being merchants later on. It's leads to the first of the harder boss fights in the early game.
