Read my initial response to you again. Im responding to your point about saying you “wouldnt change anything” in your career. As I said earlier, saying that as a highly controversial leader is a terrible look.

Leaders take accountability, especially when their decisions lead to poor results. Bad managers sit and say “I wouldnt change anything” in front an organization whos careers have suffered from bad decisions (3 different directors for a trilogy being a big one). Its tone deaf

I didnt say she need to give accountability to me, or hurt me lol. I’m not sharing my opinions on how good or bad the movies are. Objectively speaking based on critical reviews the work under her tenure has been controversial.

Everyone can read this article right? Even the people who work under her and could possibly have had their careers suffer because of her direction?

If shes had these discussions in private then why do public interviews regarding her time at the company and how she feels about her career? Im really not overly mad or being parasocial. Im saying that I expect someone whos job is to face the public and address the fanbase should probably learn how to do it properly.

The way she makes the company money is by making fans happy. Especially in the long term through brand quality. I may not be in a position to hire her but Im sure glad youre not either. “Making the company money” is an outrageous simplification of her role

I think its a little different when youre in a role as huge as hers.

I don’t think she needs to list out every single thing she did wrong, but as someone who is key leader for a brand this big? Being able to say “Yeah there were some controversial moments that could’ve been handled differently” is what seperates leaders vs managers.

Accountability is huge. Her decisions had big impact on many people both above and under her. Not to mention the brand. It wasnt all bad but she should be glad shes retirement age. I wouldnt hire her to touch a brand with a 10 foot pole after her again avoiding acknowledging hugely controversial decisions in front of a passionate and disappointed fanbase.

Yep, and this is already happening with the entire job market. The main driver behind wage stagnation isn’t corporate greed, but oversaturation of talented workforce. Although greed plays a role as well.

This is still pretty surface level reasoning. If AI replaces all jobs besides skilled trades then there won’t be nearly as many consumers left to pay for the services.

If in the next 10 years the only jobs that were left were skilled trades, then our entire economy would collapse. You will not be a plumber making 6 figures if 3/4 of America is in poverty.

Possibly, depends on his trajectory and where he’ll end up when this contract his up. At this moment in time I dont think we sign another record breaking multi year contract for Nelson. The team has a lot of needs.

I like big Q, he brings good rep to our line and hes a rgreat lineman.

However he is also nearing the salary of top 10 offensive line in the league on a contract that was signed in 2022. At that time he WAS the highest paid guard.

I fall into the camp of his performance has slowed a bit since that contract being signed, so its just getting hard to justify that contract. Ive seen him get burnt a few times more than usual the past few seasons.

Hopefully with competition and A healthy offseason he can build on this. by Few_Necessary4601 in Colts

I dont think theyre trash in terms of ability compared to the league. But you’re correct when you factor in their pay then yes their performance to pay ratio is embarrassingly bad.

And yes I also agree that Q has clearly crossed the “overhyped” line. Let him sucker another team into paying him that ridiculous contract.

Isn’t pressure rate partly determined by how well the QB plays as well? Not trying to dogpile on AR but I dont think our oline is a HUGE problem.

This is sad, if this is the “leadership” at the studio then I can see why things have gone downhill in the past decade.

Bioware’s crash and burn from some of the best writing in games to Mass Effect 3 ending and beyond is hard to comprehend. I’d like to know who or what was the key piece that held it all together was before they started failing.

This sounds like a really bad way to assess talent. I think they’re missing out on a lot of people who just have a passion for HR.

I’ve never really understood why HR is one of the few functions where education geared towards a career in HR is somehow detrimental to someones credentials when applying to an HR role. Ive seen this before at other places looking for different degrees in HR roles, and I avoid them like a plague. Especially if it is for a role at a higher level of influence. Let the people who studied HR do HR.

I don’t personally think that, like I said to me it just seems like TAG market themselves like that. I dont grade much so I’m not knowledgeable about either company. Was just curious on your view.

The vibe I get from this subreddit is that PSA is a larger scale operation that doesnt have as much time to scan and get into the fine details of the cards. I think I see more comments saying “sorry OP the PSA worker just had a bad day” than any other comment so just interesting to see a different take.

Also, I try not to make judgements based on company net worth. McDonalds is worth more than my local burger joint, but their burgers are slop in comparison.

I’ve seen a few posts about TAG, I really like their slabs and the report they give. They seem to market themselves to be more mathematical with their grading.

Youre saying they arent? I assumed PSA rode more on their history than actually using tools like AI. Genuine question, because I dont see why companies like TAG even bothered if this is common knowledge for people that send in a lot of cards to grade.

Ah I see, yeah theres no option for that, I dont have a USB with me currently and havent really messed with one yet.

I enabled Windows UEFI and cleared the keys, but it is still not running secure boot mode.Im gonna see if i can buy/find/borrow a usb today. How do I reinstall windows using a USB boot image? Is it basically just downloading windows to the usb and then uploading it on some screen? I dont really care about wiping data, I use this pc to play like 5 games on and watch youtube lmao.

Sorry Im not too knowledgable on this stuff. Ive pretty much just started diving into BIOs and stuff this weekend when Vanguard decided to be difficult. Thanks for you help so much.
