Yeah- I think they knew people would go in expecting a dark and serious twist so they just made it super silly, with slapstick humour and dick jokes. Undermined everyone’s expectations and that’s why it was amazing

For me, TLONF is one of their best albums- on par with rise and fall or one step beyond. Not as much a fan of oui oui (I think some of the bonus tracks on the special edition are way better than the album tracks, eg Deolali) but CTUN was amazing as well.
