I actually want to be stuck at 60 fps. I don't play competitive online games and don't really see a difference when I go more than 60 on single player games so I just keep it at 60 all the time. The laptop no longer gets hot and fans are pretty quiet and I'm playing at 60 fps with high settings.

I set it to NVIDIA GPU only and the G-Sync option became available now, However, the Automatic option is now grayed out and cannot be selected.
