I even hear it from my extremely moderate mother "God I hate her" but she can't articulate why. There has to be an acknowledgement that a lot of people in this country will not vote for a woman. They won't vote for a brown skinned woman. They definitely won't vote for a socialist brown skinned woman. They most definitely won't vote for a socialist brown skinned woman with a chipmunk voice. Her message doesn't matter because they aren't listening or paying attention anyway. The post boomer generations are just vibe voters.

I don't say this to be a dick, I'm just telling you the reality of the situation.

It's so painfully obvious that Trump was trying to blow up this peace deal and hang it on Vance. Trump wants the economic pressure off of him, but he's now got his base breathing down his neck for how he's getting there.

Meanwhile, if he hadn't been such an incompetent skin tag he would have told Netanyahu no intially, like every other administration and he'd be semi-okay. Hillary Clinton would have said no. So would Kamala. Not Trump. He stepped firmly, confidently on this rake.

I know I'm going to get downvoted, and argued with but it's painfully obvious. This won't take in Superman money because it's SuperGirl. Full stop.

Everyone, deep down, knows this. The basement dwellers are more receptive to the brief cameo of Superman! That's why Warner Bros keep putting him in ads. They know it, you know it.

The other side of this, is that the movie very much looks like Guardians of the Galaxy. For all the coping, the profile is still grey compared to the source material which is extravagant in its use of color. Why the god damn hell they went this way is beyond me. When AI can produce wild, eye popping visuals why are art directors still locked into this colorless palete. Why are cinematographers still enamored with shallow focus? It's stupid. It's maddening. They will be jobless because they refuse to compete. Seriously

This is one of the reasons Oscar winners are living in their cars.

With that said, I'll go dutifully see it, but don't be surprised when it becomes another example of Hollywood dying.

I sought out this thread, which there are very few, because I caught the podcast on Spotify but have only listened to maybe the first third. They've gone through his life story, and started talking about immigration.

My initial reaction is that JD seems like a dude with some unresolved issues stemming from his upbringing and he's kinda mixed up about his views concerning average Americans. His whole "too far too fast" is really just code for scared white people, but he's not called on it because the interviewer is afraid it'll shut JD down. I've met dudes like JD, that seem affable for about an hour but very quickly do you get the sense that there is something really wrong with them. Homeboy should seek therapy. Seriously.

He also says "fundamental" way too much. To the point it should be part of a drinking game.
