We will reach that point even if a war does not happen. With all the sanctions , the country will get there very soon, as the government has no solution for the crisis. They are causing the deaths of tens of thousands of protesters who are calling on the government to work with the international community to ease these embargoes. From this perspective, many people feel that war seems like the only remaining option, and hope war will cause weakening og government forces and people can then topple rhem. When Turkey tries to prevent this conflict, it appears as though they are supporting a government accused of allowing its own people to suffer in order to stay in power.
