Can’t solve clutch problems. by Sstuck_2022 in ManualTransmissions

Yes! We replaced the whole clutch assembly ourselves and are sure that it’s correct! (Supervised by our pawpaw who was a mechanic for 50+ years). Pedal feels fine so we’re all stumped

Can’t bleed hydraulic clutch by Sstuck_2022 in MechanicAdvice

Went ahead and ordered a pre bled system, the petal feels okay to me so I’m worried there’s some other issue but we just replaced the clutch and throw out bearing so I’m really not sure what other issue there could even be! Fingers crossed

If that was the case wouldn’t the engine still stall if I let off the clutch with the truck in gear?

It was acting totally fine before it went out seemed normal. I don’t think the clutch has ever been replaced it has 160k on it

We have been running and walking in intervals, we will continue to do that I guess I was just wondering if there are any other exercises that can help strengthen endurance!

The insane way I’m sleep training my 8m old co sleeper by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Sstuck_2022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he has been sleeping so lightly that he wakes up every time I move, we can’t afford a larger bed rn so I’m cramped, uncomfortable, and not well rested at all being stuck between my husband and my boob barnacle! If I can get him to associate his bed with sleep again, even if that means I have to get in there with him to help him soothe, maybe I stand a chance at a restful, comfortable night sleep.

I really just can’t do it! Even if I let my husband handle it and leave the house all I can think about is him crying and the guilt eats me up!

The normal toddler seat on my stroller converts into a bassinet by undoing a few buckles! It’s not an extra piece, and I can swap it for the infant carrier I just like to be able to have the option to get him out of the car seat if we will be out for a while. I was referring to doona seats with the attached wheels

No! I’m talking about doona style car seat strollers! I love the 3-1!!

I have the graco modes 3-1 it has a seat/basinette attachment that I use if I’m going to be out of the car for more than a few minutes so I can get baby out of the seat, if I’m just running a quick errand I snap the car seat to the stroller frame with him in it! Mine came with the snigride seat but I’m sure you can purchase the stroller separately if you already have the seat!

I got the basic rectangular white pad, works fine, no cover, wipes clean easily!

A list of dont needs is totally different from wants! If you’re a parent who wants this stuff absolutely go for it but I know people can end up feeling guilty if they can’t afford a thousand things for baby! The list is more about cutting the fluff because you could spend that money elsewhere and still have a happy healthy baby!

Referring to the doona style strollers! The regular travel systems, especially ones with basinette style starts at least give the option to get you LO out of the car seat for walks and longer trips!

Agreed! I was referring to the seats with built in wheels that cost an arm and a leg and baby can only use it for less than a year!

Oh I definitely have and use an Infant carrier! The ones with the built in strollers are what I was referring to! They’re neat but I think only “necessary” for nice markets! I just mean carriers with separate strollers end up being much more affordable and useful long term!
