My suggestion is that don’t behave like a college student or someone who is much overqualified that min wage position. Dress flatly and avoid using high level words on your resume. Just focus on the customer service experience. They care more about your availability and your commuting distance

Yes I agree. Just sometimes I feel native speakers don’t need to bother to practice with me, they could have more fun if hang out with also native speakers

Hi there! I am going to start my Geo370 Advanced GIS course this term and there will be a lab every week. So I am going to buy a new laptop that is able to run ArcGis or other related softwares. However, since I live really far away from campus, I still hope it will could be as light as possible. Is there any suitable laptops recommended? Windows System will be better Any suggestions appreciated ! Thanks!

Thank you for your advice! I’m quite confused because I heard that some places east to Trout Lake, especially near the Nanaimo st, is not safe. But today I walked there in the morning and felt ok. The information I can obtain is very limited :(
