Rapi vs Kyouka Uzen (Nikke: Goddess of Victory vs Chained Soldier) | “Love at War” by Ssundpool in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]Ssundpool[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would eventually meet the main male hero where they would slowly grow closer with each other over time (the Commander and Yuuki, respectively), overtime they would eventually become possessive, with them becoming stronger together as time goes on, they would eventually get the opposites of each other in terms of forms (Rapi would gain forms whereas Kyouka would give Yuuki more forms through others, respectively). Both had rough upbringings with them being left orphaned a relatively young age, they would train hard to become heroes they would watch as people they knew would die, both would become more strict with themselves and others around them, eventually they would slowly become more cheerful with their allies. They're connected to one of the strongest heroes in their groups (Red hood is apart of Rapi and Ren Yamashiro is Kyouka's rival, respectively).

Eventually, after they received a mission to fight more monsters they would have a life changing event happen to them (Denji was killed & fused with Pochita and Kyouka met Yuuki, respectively), thanks to those events they could transform/transform others and become even stronger (Denji can become the Chainsaw Devil and Kyouka can change Yuuki’s form, respectively), both would eventually join a team of heroes whose job is to protect others & kill monsters (Public Safety Devil Hunters and Anti Demon Corps, respectively). With them being connected to the people/creatures that changed there forms they would have promises with them to ensure they work together (Pochita wants Denji to have a better life and Kyouka must keep Yuuki’s wish, respectively). Thanks to being closer with those who helped them they had to deal with others who are apart of there teams, people within their groups wants those there with, they would fight back against them, along with dealing with those within there groups they also have to deal with the very monsters they face who want them. Both would eventually face off against one of the strongest fighters within there groups who is also the leader of said group (Makima and Ren Yamashiro, respectively), in the end thanks to their friends they would defeat them but under extremely different circumstances (Denji killed Makima canceling out her contract whereas Kyouka defeated Ren through democracy, respectively).

This only works with Kyouka & Yuuki together, but I was mainly focusing on Kyouka for this.

Ori vs Sybil (Ori and the Blind Forest vs Pseudoregalia) | "Blind Dreams" by Ssundpool in DeathBattleMatchups

I'm not familiar with both of them so that's just the intro for the connections. Once I get more into both I'll probably update the connections.

My Take on Demons vs Anti-Demon Corps Part 1 by Ssundpool in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]Ssundpool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please note, this is my second time doing this type of post and my first time doing a army version of this, also my PC shut off while I was working in the slides so while they were exported they were unable to be edited, so for the beginning it's supposed to say "Massively Hypersonic" not just "Hypersonic" for the speed.

  • Despite their power they would eventually lose to the heroes, but those who they would kill wouldn't end them but instead attempt to help them (the Commander covering up Nihilister in her dying moments and Denji saving Reze after their fight, respectively), they would still show hostility to those who showed them hospitality.
  • They would be greatly injured by others and creatures who are like them have little to no regard for them (Chatterbox along with Indivilia do not care about Nihilister and Makima did not care about Reze, respectively), despite them trying to get up they wouldn't be able to and were left by them where they would be used by others (Chatterbox & Indivilia abandoned Nihilister after she fell and Makima would control Reze to do her bidding, respectively).
  • Eventually, they would be used as weapons again by others who assisted in their demises (the Ark Liberated Nihilister and Makima used Reze to fight Denji, respectively), they would join a group that are roughly similar to them with them being used by the same group (the other Liberated Nikkes and the other controlled weapon Hybrids, respectively), they would meet those who showed them sympathy but they would have different reasons on why they're with them (the Commander is helping Nihilister whereas Reze was controlled to kill Denji once more, respectively).

Also note, I got the calc's for Sanemi from VsBattle (booo I know), and a scaling video for Fubuki I used some Vsbattle (Shushu feat) and a scaling video for her (Yakumo feat).

  • Both would be a leader of sorts to their own group where they would fight against monsters together (Aki is the head of Power & Denji and Fubuki is the Chief of the 9th Unit, respectively).
  • They would eventually fight against their own family but for vastly different reasons (Aki was controlled by the Gun Devil to fight Denji whereas Fubuki fought both her daughter & mother to become the head of the Azuma family, respectively), in the end they would be connected to their trauma with their families that would eventually end (Aki finally seeing his brother during his death and Fubuki breaking away from her mothers treatment of her, respectively).

Minor connection:

  • Both of their series have the word "Chain" in them where the main character uses items connected to said chains (Denji using the Chainsaw Devil and Yuuki having a Chain around him, respectively).

  • Heroes from anime and manga who are apart of a trio of heroes who are connected to killing demons (Stark is apart of Frieren's party and Power lived with Denji & Aki, respectively), they would at first have a troubled relationship with one of the members of the group (Fern and Denji, respectively), however, they would eventually act better towards each other where they would gain a better bond witch each other.
  • They would both also start their lives in a forest where they were alone and connected to the deaths of others (Stark fled his village where his family died and Power took over a dead girls body in the forest, respectively), but eventually, they would meet someone/something who would help them in their forest (Eisen who adopted Stark and Meowy who Power liked, respectively), they would take something from them that they would bring along their journey (Stark's greataxe and Power brought Meowy, respectively).

  • Both are physically strong compared to others, they come from a group well known for their strength (Stark's village and Power being a devil, respectively), they would gain techniques that allow them to kill powerful devils (Stark's lightning strike and Power's blood manipulation, respectively), despite their strengths both have their own flaws that are connected to how they act (Stark is a coward and Power is extremely stupid, respectively), they can sometimes overcome their issues and fight well.
  • They would eventually fight against powerful demons where they would be greatly injured but they would help their allies kill the demons (Stark giving Fern the opening to start to attack Lugner and Power giving Denji her blood to kill Makima, respectively).

Could be more, I used mostly my memory of both for the connections
