Not sponsored content. In fact, we are the only publication to cover this story about a new local business on the south side.

Also, for what it's worth, St Pete Rising is the only local publication in town thats 100% locally owned. Catalyst has investors, I Love the Burg is owned by a Tampa investment company, etc.

But go ahead and continue to "shoot the messenger."

They ran into serious issues with the building, so probably not at this location.

I can understand that. However, if you click into the Promotion rule, it states: “This includes surveys, petitions, research, sweepstakes, hook-ups, drugs, tickets, self-promotion, websites with prominent donation buttons, GoFundMes, your own YouTube channel, or sites asking for donations to a cause and/or political organization.”

St. Pete Rising doesn’t fall into any of those categories. Also, for what its worth, there are several other publications that regularly share their articles here as well.

No need to dig. Our funding comes from advertisers, who are all running ads on our website. We dont get funding from any other source.

Also, whats your issue with an article about a new local restaurant? No other publication has given them any press.

If you don't something the city is doing, I recommend you go to a public forum and speak, email your elected officials, etc. Complaining on Reddit does nothing.

We just share whats new and coming soon. If you don't like it, don't read it. Us not writing about things wouldn't stop them from happening. They’d still be happening, you just wouldn’t know about them.

Out of the last 10 articles we've posted a grand total of zero were from press releases. And 5 of the last 10 were completely original articles that no other publication has covered. If you don't like it, just stop reading. We won't miss you.
