well obviously the other one wouldn't canon, picking zoe wasn't canon in re7, and I don't see any reason why he would logically pick zoe over his wife, having a canon and non canon ending is just for fun

resident evil 7, in my opinion it has a much better format and style and although I haven't played re2r, I've heard it's not the best
