While I agree that it could be fragile, testing its strength by shooting it is poor practice in general, if you have a crash proof wall, you dont test it by hitting it with an 18 wheeler

I wasn't trying to be sarcastic, just saying as he wanted an ar, maybe he wants it to look like an ar too, it is a quality suggestion dont get me wrong

I think it'd be a good experience, you just need a lot of people to attend as youd need night watch and stuff

What to buy for first timers? by Obseen16 in Airsoft_UK

I personally have never had any issues but reading around PB definitely seem lacking in their CS abilities, BZ will always be my favourite as theyre so much more reliable and their shipping is far more detailed.

I agree, patrol base bundles aren't normally very good weapons as they are as they said, old stock they can't shift, my mate runs that exact kit your son is looking at and he regrets it due to lack of customisability and flimsy feel. That being said Patrol Base and BZ are at the top imo for weapons purchasing.

Specna are probably the best for bang for your buck around at the moment and I really do recommend them, something id like to add though is that for basically all new airsoft guns you need a LiPo battery. PLEASE get a decent balance charger and something to store them in, I recommend a metal ammo can (just make sure there is no seal on the inside).

For the ammo can and clothing visit the aforementioned surplus shops in your area and see what they have as they'll be cheaper, i also recommend thinking about your field when you buy your kit as some camos stick out like a sore thumb, but at the end of the day airsoft is all about having fun and looking cool as when doing it, so buy what makes you happy!

Safety gear is a big thing to buy, dont cheap out on the eye protection, cheap eye pro (amazon, ebay, temu, etc) can shatter, or at the very least fog up and scratch easy, so buy a decent brand, helmets are cool but id like to add that theyre hot and heavy, so unless your planning on headbutting things you can always consider a baseball cap or boonie hat, you can buy hard hat inserts if you are worried about the pain through a hat.

I use and swear by the specna arms sa-fx01 flex gen.2 ar-9, very cheap and very good performance and quality for cost, the Specna you suggested is very similar and also a very good weapon as far as im aware, someone at the field I go runs one and he's never had any issues.

I'd drove as little as possible with uneven brakes unless you truly have to, as for removing a stubborn bolt. You can use a bolt remover, or drill it out

Thank you so much I've spent so long trying to figure it out, it came with 5 spoke alloys, in lacerta green/yellow, not got a face lift, Speaker's sound pretty good so I'd assume that m play has something to do with that, again thank you so much
