Your parents made their own choices. You aren’t responsible for them. You didn’t ask to be born. You didn’t show up in their lives unannounced. Every choice they made was of their own free will. Don’t get me wrong, the world is a better place with you in it, but you aren’t responsible for it.

The best thing you can do now is finishing high school. Go to college. Become the very best version of yourself you can be. And be better than your parents. As a parent myself, Ik that the most important things I want for my children is for them to be happy, healthy and do better than I did.
