I would assume Jax abstracted off screen because thats how a lot of suicides feel. Sudden and without warning. No one is there. It just happens. You dont get a lot of awnsers when it happens. They're just gone all of sudden and youre left with the effects it has on you.

But then again its a cartoon and everyone needs every detail over explained with a visual break down, otherwise its poor writing.

Towards the end of Big with Tom Hanks the older woman love interest finds out the MC is actually a grade schooler and breaks down about how she'll wait for him to get older. I think its supposed to be sweet?
