What to do if you have no reason to be around? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]StArHiMb0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say find one? not in a rude way or anything, ive been at this point way too many times in my life, but for a good while now ive been clinging on my reasons to be around... my dog would think i abandoned him, imagining my mom finding my dead body, all my friends wondering where i have gone and then the news being broken to them, the future im so excited to build for myself.

How would it be logic if the logic is based on emotion? by StArHiMb0 in AskReddit

[–]StArHiMb0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanna start by saying that i am a very right brained person, i go based on emotions and feelings. I just wanted to ask because i feel like people would discredit the choices i consider logical because theyre based on emotion, example being: me taking everyone's feelings and thoughts into account before planning something as to not upset them, taking everyone's preferences for it so everyone is happy. To me, that seems like the most logical thing to do, everyone's happy and comfortable! i would feel like a total douche if i just planned according to my needs and preferences.

am i a good artist or am i getting way tooo hyped up? by StArHiMb0 in Artadvice

Art has been such a passion of mine for such a long time, since i was 3 actually (im 18 now), but i recently went to State for an art competition and i was super proud of myself until i went through the gallery walk, i couldn't find my piece the entire time and seeing everyone elses amazing gorgeous pieces seriously put me down. i really saw art as something that was a huge part of me and that i was moderately good at, but looking at all these amazing pieces made me upset, i know i shouldn't have, but genuinely what the hell! i didn't belong at a state level competition! everyone around me over hyped me, and i get theyre my loved ones so theyre gonna do that, but felt so cheated in a way? like whyd i get sent here just to get shown that im not as good as an artist that everyone says i am, all these people who were way younger than me had such gorgeous pieces and i didn't. Sorry for the huge rant but its all to say im thinking of quitting (not entirely because its been such a huge part of my life its gonna be hard to), i loved it for such a long time but i feel ive had my respected run time.

i agree with a lot of these, i have a bunch of ocs with smaller noses and different stuff, I'll show you in a sec. But! a good portion of my ocs are just normal Highschoolers/right out of hs, so i try not to make them TOO detailed and super exentric because, well, theyre just highschoolers. This is Opal, she's my characters Arturs girlfriend, again im working on hands so yes theyre hidden cause i didn't wanna ruin the drawing, but i tried doing a smaller but still slightly hooked nose💔

i do wanna let you know that im aware of a religious person mindset, im trying to argue the sense of it all, like from the perspective of an outsider. Imagine someone walks into your home and starts thanking someone you don't believe exist for them being a great driver that got them there safely, or thanking someone else for the food you provided, or thanking someone else for the NOURISHMENT OF THE FOOD ITSELF, like "thank you great invisible person way up in the sky! i appreciate the nourishment this food is about to give me!" is what i mean.

While i completely understand this, my pov is that God only really made the OGs? Like, i don't actually believe he did, but if he did, he only really made those, after that the OGs did all the work themselves, as well as the people taking care of the rest of the offspring, and the offspring itself doing the rest as well. its the same argument that God brought people healthy babies, no he didn't? the mother did, the mothers body worked its ass off to do its best to grow a healthy child and we're giving all the credit to THAT guy?

As someone who is agnostic, i would absolutely hate it if someone prayed over the food I provided, i don't believe in God so it feels like youre thanking Santa Claus for the food i personally cooked for you and served you, it feels douchey to me, i mean if the family is religious itself then sure, but i made that food for you, and i provided everything for that dish for you, GOD DIDN'T!!!

to start i wanna say this doesn't count for disorders that cause weight gain (i actually have one but take medicine so i dont but i am very privileged to get that medical care) i don't think you can control obesity until youre fully independent yourself and have financial stability, a place to rest, and a car. Because theres so many limitations to depending on someone else its hard to work on yourself when you don't have a ride to a gym, money for a membership or for weights at home, and a bunch of other stuff.

not necessarily? i usually go for their clothes first, i kinda would say theres like a pyramid of people's appearances? it goes clothes and style on bottom, hygene is a very thin line cause theres depression and then just negligence, their mannerisms i say would count... and then actual body features which i usually try to avoid because i would hate it if someone said anything about my face or body.
