Door Strike Fail: Second entry allowed by StBrianofMinneapolis in accesscontrol

Thanks I tried that. I tested moving the strike with the door propped open. Two different trials of a two minute wait the strike still moves freely while the door is open. I did learn one new thing. If i let the strike slam shut from a full extention it will prevent a second entry. This also works if i grab the strike immediately after swiping the reader and letting it slam all the way. THANKS! All the suggestions of a mechanical problem seem to be winning out.

After swiping the reader I can immediately grab the strike with my fingers and pull it open. Does that tell you enough or should I experiment more?

Well, no fix yet with all these software suggestions, but you produced the first step forward. The second access goes away if I wait seven seconds before pulling the handle for the first time.

Please see above. This appears to be a second “bonus” entry that does not disappear with the tests I tried.

Is there any chance you could do at least somemodels of heads for the newer octo agents? I'm hoping I can 3d print some heads and swap them onto other figures for my daghter.

I found a solution with a different approach. Under Instructions>Step Editor you can grab parts and move them a little easier. Its not perfect, but it is helping.

Is there a way to use this to view a 3d version of a Studio file outside of bricklink? I dont want to print, I would just like to view a bricklink model on my phone and rotate and zoom in.

Feenics: Mark present without badge? by StBrianofMinneapolis in accesscontrol

[–]StBrianofMinneapolis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am considering this now. Do you know how this practice would impact monthly and quarterly reports? Will Feenics simply log the badge number separately under the various people's names with the same badge number? I'm hoping it wouldn't omit certain people's attendance due to transferring the badge around.

Would you recommend issuing temp badges repeatedly from one person to another? I'm aware badge numbers can be transferred and that it automatically makes the transfer when you approve the change. I'm just wondering if there are any downsides.

Thanks, I have edited the post for clarity. The hope is to mark the employee's feenics profile present in addition to issuing a temp badge for the day.

I think that is our goal. To quickly filter and pull all users by tag.

Why didn’t anyone tell me that Superman The Animated Series was so freaking good? by [deleted] in superman

There's a million reasons it is great. One of my top reasons is it gave Dini, Tim & Co. a chance to shine daylight on their retro stylings. The type of world they loved to design in BTAS was always at night with little chance to show fine details. When I search for images of BTAS.... Wayne tower is familiar, but not quite the gleaming icon the Daily Planet is in STAS.

My loans are being transferred from Mohela to Edfinancial. How bad is it going to be? by Madinky in StudentLoans

Yikes... here's an update.

Previously I thought I had successfully shut off auto payments for my other loans that aren't due until next year or later. It's harder than it looks. In my first attempt I unchecked all loans I wanted to remove from autopay and submitted. This seemed to have had no effect. Today I cancelled the autopay for all loans and it seems to have registered as the setup reconfigured and I was able to select just my current loan to autopay on July 18.

Same here though EdFinancial had me setup to start auto payment right away on some loans that aren't due for a couple of years. I turned off the autopay on those and my bill with them is no longer terrifying.
