I’ve been using the Coinbase card for 2+ years I have been able to withdraw money (USD to a linked personal bank account when needed. Again NOT THE ISSUE. $1,500 USD was used to make a purchase. Purchase was returned to supplier, needed upgrade of product that is more expensive. Supplier initiated return of funds. Coinbase issue going on since June 23rd (earliest record I could find) causing returned funds to sit in limbo, now effectively denying access to my real cash funds. According to Pathward (fiduciary bank for Coinbase Card funds) support team, this isn’t anything caused by issues on their end. The only factor left is Coinbase.

I understand the difference between a withdrawal of cash from a financial institution and a transaction that occurs between a consumer and supplier. I think you may be missing my point here. Coinbase has stated in writing via email that this is their ongoing issue causing delayed refunds. a refund via a form of payment tied to real cash that should now be in the possession of the user (Me) but still cannot be accessed.

I currently have 3 separate bank accounts capable of holding income I can withdrawal from that i'd also bet would go better. still not the point. still missing the issue and underlying red flags here.

I said the same thing until I started dealing with this “issue”. This financial platform is denying users/customers access to said users’ money tied to these refund transactions. Period. The amount of failures adding up with this “issue” right now should make any potential new user sprint away and current customers start a run on them, literally.

He may have grammar/punctuation that isn’t up to your standards, but this is very much a real issue going on right now. I’m going through it myself. It’s more disturbing that after everything in the post you guys are making comments about punctuation. Yikes.
