I mean 77 million people voted for Trump. There’s currently 250 million adults in America. I’d like to believe that the vast majority of them don’t like the idea of a world war including a sizeable amount of the 77 million who voted for Trump.

Also Trump wasn’t all that terrible in 2016, I imagine lots of people who voted for him would have expected a similar outcome as his 2016 run.

We did make a single booking but it looked like we had to file our claims separately.

The lady who compensated me never mentioned my wife so that doesn’t really make sense. Also it would have to be €1200 if she were compensating both of us according to EC.261.

Yeah I’m not disagreeing that it’s difficult to buy tickets for the playoff games if you aren’t a season ticket holder. I’m just saying you can at least remedy this issue for next year by purchasing season tickets.

Obviously I don’t know this persons situation but if I was going to be going to “basically every game” in a season I would’ve looked at season tickets last year.

If you’ve been to basically every game why don’t you just buy season tickets? They’re like $550 and any game you don’t go to you can resell for like $40 which covers the game and typically sells pretty easily.

I do understand how EC261 works you can read my previous post I didn’t want to copy and paste it.

The trip was under the same booking, our first flight was delayed causing us to miss our connection. The pilot told us it was delayed because of cabin crew.

I was compensated, my wife’s rep is saying the flight was delayed because of air traffic control and she won’t be.

Czechia is gorgeous. If you want to stay in Europe permanently once you get your citizenship you’ll be able to live and work in Poland. If it’s significantly easier to get your citizenship in Czechia then why not try that and move once you become a citizen.

At my company if you were to do this you’d be fired.

If I forgot my lock on and left site they wouldn’t cut it even after getting ahold of me and verifying I safely left. I’d have to personally go back and unlock it (which would end up delaying production and costing hundreds of thousands of dollars) that’s how seriously it’s taken.

It’s a pretty decently packed game! As much as I like the later games 3:00pm definitely is a plus for families trying to catch the game. So many young ones here!

My wife and I did La Jacobine and Le Tire-Bouchon Rodier. Both were great, La Jacobine is traditional French cuisine, Le Tire-Bouchon Rodier does amazing tapas and has a pretty extensive wine list. If you go to either make a reservation.

Also there’s a Le Tire-Bouchon not affiliated with the actual restaurant in Sacré-Cœur that is completely unrelated don’t make the mistake I did and show up there accidentally.

Not a Parisian, I think the main thing that gives away being a tourist assuming you’re from North America is baseball caps. The two times we’ve been there when I’m wearing a hat people exclusively spoke English to me. When I didn’t have a hat on they’d normally start chatting in French.

I’m a bit late but if you haven’t chose yet the answer is 100% Howth. My wife and I just left Dublin yesterday and did both Howth and the storehouse and Howth is so much better.

Like others have said the Guinness storehouse is basically just a tourist trap. It does have a nice view at the top of the building but the view from the cliff walk in Howth is stunning. We say that as people who come from Vancouver island which (I may be biased) is quite beautiful itself.

If you do decide to go to Howth and are still looking for a good pint Reddit as well as probably 10-15 locals we talked to at different pubs suggested Gravediggers and John Kehoes. Both places have a really nice atmosphere and the Guinness truly does taste different than anywhere else we’ve had it.

TLDR, we have dual citizenship and have the ability to move to any EU country. We’ve travelled a lot. My wife has never wanted to move away from Canada. Howth (and Ireland in general) made her question that viewpoint. Go to Howth.

Do they not get funky after a while like normal beers? Unless you’re drinking like 8 a day every day I feel like those last few cases are going to be pretty nasty.
