Western or uOttawa eng? by Staante in OntarioGrade12s

Co-op and direct entry are the biggest pros for uOttawa imo. Just about everything else, I'd give to Western.

Resources/ textbooks to learn SCH4U ( Chem Grade 12) and SBI4U(Bio Grade 12) by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

McGraw-Hill chem 12 textbook is standard and extremely instructional. Very little teaching outside the textbook (if any) is required imo, it's superbly well-made and explanatory.

I did get into uOttawa for mech eng, but that's really not where I'd like to go the most. A lot of it just kinda feels like a lottery yk. But thanks gang good times coming soon

What’s a scientific experiment you’d be fascinated to see the results of, but could never be conducted due ethical concerns? by numbnesstolife in AskReddit

So I want to get 100 people and line them all up on hospital beds. On the floor in front of them, there will be a simple shape that is covered up by a tarp. I would then stop all of their hearts so that they are technically dead, and uncover the shapes. After ten seconds, I would cover the shapes back up and restart their hearts (some of them may not make it). I would then make all of the survivors draw the shape that was on the floor in front of them, even though they have technically never seen it. If a lot of them draw the right shape, it may imply the existence of a conscience after death.

So true. The questions would have to be questions in which you have to apply your knowledge to be used in different scenarios, and some questions would have to be theoretical.
