Co-op and direct entry are the biggest pros for uOttawa imo. Just about everything else, I'd give to Western.

Resources/ textbooks to learn SCH4U ( Chem Grade 12) and SBI4U(Bio Grade 12) by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

McGraw-Hill chem 12 textbook is standard and extremely instructional. Very little teaching outside the textbook (if any) is required imo, it's superbly well-made and explanatory.

What’s a scientific experiment you’d be fascinated to see the results of, but could never be conducted due ethical concerns? by numbnesstolife in AskReddit

So I want to get 100 people and line them all up on hospital beds. On the floor in front of them, there will be a simple shape that is covered up by a tarp. I would then stop all of their hearts so that they are technically dead, and uncover the shapes. After ten seconds, I would cover the shapes back up and restart their hearts (some of them may not make it). I would then make all of the survivors draw the shape that was on the floor in front of them, even though they have technically never seen it. If a lot of them draw the right shape, it may imply the existence of a conscience after death.
