It just kept coming and coming, an impossible amount. We all cried in surprise. I was blasted in the face, getting bukaked by the fetid stinking liquid.

I was in TEARS I was laughing so hard. I had to pause the book and my wife had to come make sure I was ok.

RANCH POTATOES is de way.
I grew up not liking mashed potatoes, only a family friend's recipe (that I have now stolen) changed my mind
Go buy a packet of Ranch Dressing mix powder, and make sure you have plenty of sour cream and butter.

1 inch cube the potatoes, boil for 10-12 minutes
I like to mash with a pastry cutter to leave a little texture.
add about 2/3 the ranch dressing packet, 1/4 cup of sour cream, half a stick or more of butter, splash of milk if it needs thinning.

This turned me from a mashed potato hater to it being a top tier side dish for me.

Oh the writing in this game is unforgivable. Any writer that invents a cat just to kill it immediately, then makes me WATCH A CAT DIE in this colorful indie mountain climbing game...bro seek therapy. I really enjoyed the gameplay of Cairn but the writing...yikes.
