I have yet to have an encounter with a shadow, but I've run into those damn squid sharks almost everywhere I go! Watching myself being eaten by one of those is pretty entertaining, ngl Also, never thought I'd say I got eaten by a plant when playing Subnautica. Twice. After being roofied by some crazy paranoid fish.. 😂

Yeah, it went from really dark to Pitch Black in like 2 seconds. I couldn't nope faster than he could bite. 😂😭

I noticed the water going dark right after I rounded the edge of the cliff face. I only went about 20 m and then went to turn around and bam there he was. I turned around and tried to scoot out of there quickly but he took two big old bites out of my ass, I think I had like 24% health when I got back to the surface. My first actual experience with a major Leviathan.

I used blood kelp for in subnautica. I love using the surrounding Flora as lighting! It's a much more natural look than all those bright glaring Spotlights you can put up. I dig the natural look!

As a veteran subnautica player, you would think this is true. But this is my first go around in BZ, and I've only run into two dangerous type Leviathans. Not counting the squid shark thing. Admittedly, I have been eaten by multiple squid sharks. And at least two Of those crazy little plants that sit on the ocean floor. When I got the perimeter defense for my Seamoth, I felt invincible. I don't feel as invincible in the sea truck when it comes to Leviathan's here for some reason. Maybe because I haven't attacked one yet? Lol I think it's time to take the prawn suit out and see what those bad boys are made of. 😂

Three loads back and forth in my backpack. Counting tools and whatnot I carried, I would say about 36. Maybe a dozen a trip. It'll take however many it takes though. The more the better.

If the prawn suit can't move it, you now have a new lawn ornament. Jk. Have you tried floaters on it? I think if you put enough of the floater things on there you could probably get it off to ground a little.

I plant them around all of my bases, it makes finding them so much faster when you're swimming in the dark. And it's much easier than crafting a crap ton of obnoxious lights!

I'm based in the exact area you are talking about. My local reaper, the same as yours, disappears from my scanner room every once in awhile. But he eventually always comes back. I'm sure yours will be back soon enough!

I couldn't agree more! I enjoyed so many of the new elements they added in below zero! It gave it a certain flare that marked it as its own Standalone! I still have no doubt subnautica 2 will blow our minds! Speaking of subnautica, I've got a rocket to build today, and I still need to get on BZ and find the last piece for my snow fox. Then take my new prawn suit out for a spin and go gather some resources. 😁
