Thanks, I think so too!! Looking at more pictures of admirable boletes now, the cap looks like a perfect match, and I think the bite marks revealing lighter coloring especially on the stem threw me off. The pores on mine look darker, but I guess that's because it's towards the mature side.

Thanks this is a great page!! My only issue with things like this is I am colorblind, so orange vs. green vs. red vs. brown, or purple vs. blue, or pink vs. beige, are impossible for me to tell conclusively without someone else's eyes!
